Your first stop is at a local farm with goats and chickens, where you will learn more about cheese making and the traditional life of a shepherd. At his hut, the shepherd will treat you to a variety of local cheeses and other traditional products.
The tour continues to Chalki, one of the most elegant neoclassical villages of inland Naxos. There, you will enjoy a delicious citron liqueur and honey tasting session. Apart from the tasting, you will also have time to stroll through the village and take photos of its charming alleys and traditional atmosphere.
Next, you will visit the picturesque village of Kaloxylos, where you will enjoy an olive oil and olive products tasting at a traditional olive press. This stop offers a beautiful introduction to one of the most important products of Naxian everyday life.
Afterwards, the tour continues to Filoti, the most populated village of Naxos, located at the foot of Mount Zas. You will walk through its alleys and enjoy a coffee or refreshment break at a traditional café.
Last but not least, the experience ends in Apiranthos, the famous marble village of Naxos. There, you will enjoy lunch and dessert, completing a full journey through the flavours, villages and traditions of the island.
